Aashiqui 3 : Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan is all set to mesmerize audiences with his upcoming untitled musical film, directed by Anurag Basu. The teaser of the highly anticipated movie has finally been released, and fans are already drawing comparisons to iconic films like Rockstar and Kabir Singh.
The teaser showcases Kartik in a rugged avatar, sporting long hair and a scruffy beard while passionately strumming a guitar. The musical’s leading lady, South sensation Sreeleela, makes her Bollywood debut in this project, adding freshness to the pairing. While the title remains undisclosed, the teaser features the hauntingly beautiful melody of Tu Hi Aashiqui Hai, further fueling speculations that this could be Aashiqui 3.
Social media has been buzzing with mixed reactions. Some fans are thrilled to see Kartik in a musical love story, while others express nostalgia for Aashiqui 2 and its cast, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. A section of netizens also debated the replacement of Triptii Dimri with Sreeleela, with some supporting the change and others questioning it.

The yet-to-be-titled film is backed by T-Series and will feature music composed by Pritam. Scheduled for a Diwali 2025 release, the film is expected to clash with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror-comedy Thama at the box office.
